Williamson County Health Department is accepting applications for a full-time Public Health Office Assistant in our Franklin Clinic location. Applicants must have the equivalent of a high-school education, maintain a valid Tennessee Driver’s License, and have reliable transportation.

This position provides administrative support to nurses, providers and programs. Administrative and clerical duties include, but are not limited to, answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, conducting income eligibility, verifying insurance, working up and checking out patients, and issuing birth and death certificates. Applicants should possess computer skills, knowledge of file and records management, and medical terminology.

Applicants for this position should have the qualifications and experience necessary to understand and perform tasks such as those listed above and other similar duties.
