The role of the Critical Care Paramedic is to provide pre-hospital emergency medical care at an advanced practice level and transportation for the sick and injured. In addition, the Critical Care Paramedic must be able to serve as a team leader of EMS personnel. The Critical Care Paramedic is responsible to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times. Appropriate care is determined by the policies and procedures of Williamson Medical Center, in accordance with State regulations and accepted standards of care.
