HOW YOU WOULD BE SPENDING YOUR TIME AS ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Director of Internal Communication will be the heart of our efforts to create a transparent and engaging communication environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Works closely with our Director of Internal Communication to develop and implement communication strategies that resonate with our diverse workforce, ensuring every team member feels informed, valued, and inspired.
- Supports the production of our weekly live feed show that keeps our employees informed on the latest happenings at Willmeng.
- Crafts clear, compelling, and creative messages for various internal channels.
- Partners with our Director of Continuous Improvement to fosters a culture of openness and inclusivity by promoting two-way communication and feedback mechanisms.
- Measures the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns using data to continually improve and innovate.
- You have a strong understanding of the production process and workflows.
- You understand how to take business topics and add compelling human interest to engage people in those topics.
- You have excellent, organized, and clear written and verbal communication.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and love working in a collaborative environment.
- You have on or off camera broadcast experience.
- You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
- You are proficient with Adobe Premiere and/or Photoshop.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Journalism, or similar.
- 3 -5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Able to pass our required background check.
