SUMMARY: Manage textbook and instructional resources inventory. Ensure cash management compliance, facilitate district fees and payment system. Support club sponsors in management of student activity funds. Issue student identification badges and parking permits. Monitor students serving as teacher assistants (TA) in the bookstore.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure cash management compliance.
  • Facilitate district fees and payment system.
  • Support club sponsors in the management of student activity funds.
  • Manage textbook and instructional resource inventory.
  • Issue student identification badges and student parking permits.
  • Monitor students serving as TAs (teacher assistants) in bookstore.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
  • Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience in itemized record keeping.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated competency in computer literacy and Excel 

LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Techniques and methods for organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring work.
  • Best practices, trends and emerging technologies.
  • Business math concepts.
  • Filing and record-keeping principles.
  • Applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations.
  • Customer service principles.
  • Modern office technology.

  • Coordinating deadlines, prioritizing work demands, and monitoring work performed.

ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class typically require: balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Working Conditions

Work is routinely performed in an indoor, office environment.
