Willow Oaks Country Club is seeking a hospitality-driven Tennis Shop Manager to join our dynamic team! This position oversees all aspects of our tennis facility, including managing staff, organizing events, and ensuring excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, time management skills, communication skills, and retail experience. Strong candidates will have flexible availability. A typical schedule would include some weekday shifts from 8am-5pm, one weekend, one evening shift, and availability on holidays. This full-time salaried position starts at $50k and is based on experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage daily operations of the tennis facility
- Hire, train, manage, lead, evaluate Tennis Shop staff
- Oversee interior and exterior cleanliness and organization of the Tennis Facility including the creation of displays and shop's appearance
- Inform members of programs and events
- Schedule court times
- Operate POS computer system
- Provide information and promotional material for magazine and website
- Partner effectively with Director to share ideas and concerns
- Track expenses, sales, inventory, and shop staff payroll to help Director meet departmental budget
- Assist with running the retail operation which includes purchasing, receiving, and pricing merchandise as well as developing special sales & promotions
- Assist members and guests with purchases as well as providing members with exceptional customer service.
