Director of Operations – Restaurant Group$125,000 - $145,000 BonusThis locally acclaimed cocktail and restaurant hospitality group is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to join their team. A well-established company that operates 5 locations in the San Jose area with plans to expand their portfolio in the near future. DescriptionThe Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing multiple restaurants in the group, including leading the teams to meet or beat targets for sales, costs, service, quality, safety and sanitation, all while developing future leaders and hitting employee retention targets. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy: Lead and mentor multi-unit operations, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and brand standards
Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations in collaboration with the General Manager, including staffing, inventory, and vendor relationships, ensuring efficiency and profitability
Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-saving strategies to meet revenue targets
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all locations comply with health, safety, and labor regulations while maintaining high-quality standards
Talent Development: Recruit, train, and retain top talent, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Guest Satisfaction: Implement strategies to enhance customer experience and address any operational challenges affecting service
Innovation & Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities for expansion, menu innovation, and operational improvements
Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, including ownership, managers, and external partners, to ensure seamless operations across the group

Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience with a restaurant/hospitality group as a Director of Operations, Multi-Unit General Manager or Area Manager overseeing multiple locations and teams
Oversee marketing initiatives and event planning, including promotions, private dining, and special occasions
Strong understanding of P&L management, labor costs, and revenue forecasting
Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high service standards
Must be able to travel to multiple locations in the Bay Area
