Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) will assists the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Services department to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws, federal, state and local regulations, and Life Care standards. Also assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
Registered Nurse with experience in long-term care. Management or supervisor experience in long-term care nursing preferred.
Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a supervisory role in a nursing care facility
Proficient in the use of a computer.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES Assists the DoN in the supervision of nursing staff, special projects and more.
