Location and FlexibilityOur Learning & Development Manager is an integral part of our team at WillowTree. To help retain our deep culture of collaboration, this role will maintain an in-office presence in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices in Charlottesville (VA), Durham (NC), Boston (MA), or Columbus (OH).
The OpportunityAs a Learning & Development Manager at WillowTree you will design, develop, deliver, and manage L&D programs and offerings for all internal audiences using best practices and L&D expertise. You will evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs and continuously improve content and delivery methods. The role will be supported by and will partner closely with the Senior Director, Learning & Organizational Development, to design, develop, implement, and manage learning offerings & programs that are aligned with the strategy for our global teams, amplify existing initiatives and programs and help us think about what is right for tomorrow as WillowTree scales.
The role’s scope is global, to support the L&D programs in all current and future locations for WillowTree, a TELUS International Company.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the learning design process for L&D courses
  • Develop and deliver e-learning courses and instructor-led training
  • Assess learning needs and identify knowledge gaps
  • Design curricula outlines and learning outcomes
  • Determine appropriate learning delivery modes
  • Collaborate with the team on learning program design and development within the LMS
  • Manage learning programs from beginning to end
  • Connect with stakeholders to assess learning needs and develop impactful programs
  • Manage external vendors for learning content delivery
  • Implement learning evaluation metrics and processes
  • Conduct in-person and virtual learning delivery
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for learning experience design and development
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Prioritize learning priorities based on business objectives
  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery of learning solutions
  • Maintain in-office attendance based on role expectations

  • Project management skills
