Wilmington Awning, Shutter & Shade, Inc. is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Myrtle, SC

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing operational activities within the company. This includes, but is not limited to managing delivery of exemplary customer service, talent management, expense management and control, managing job needs such as ordering product, following up on delayed orders and customer concerns, managing installation teams as well as marketing efforts.
Specific Duties
  • Reacts to sales leads by proactively contacting customers to assess their needs, following up in a timely manner, swiftly presenting accurate quotes to customers, and working with the customer to deliver an experience tailored to their needs and preferences.
  • Ensures products and projects are accurately quoted, sold, and produced, ultimately maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains knowledge of all products and accessories sold by the company including associated labor/material considerations.
  • Conducts in depth survey/review of customer requests and the current state of their home/business to provide quotes that are as accurate as possible, avoiding unexpected expenses where possible.
  • Provides measurements/quotes to stakeholders in a timely manner, expediting quotes to close sales as quickly as possible.
  • Maintains relationships with product vendors conducive to a better experience for the customer.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with installers and serves as the liaison between installers and customers as needed.
  • Represents the values of the organization well while inside the home of the customer by providing product and project consultation in a clear, courteous, and respectful manner.
  • Maintains project profitability within acceptable standards set by the organization.
  • Maintains a positive image in the community of the work completed by the organization to generate new and repeat business.
  • Responsible for generating sales leads through engagement in community programs, events, and engaging new home builds, recent home sales, and new/existing businesses in the products/services of the organization.
  • Accountable to achieve sales and profit targets which may require sales prospecting activities to generate sales leads.
    • This position requires local travel (<100 miles) estimated to equate to 90% of the time.
