Salary: $19.23 - $28.84 / Hr

Here, at our Wilmington, North Carolina treatment center, we supply invaluable resources, positive support, and a safe environment in which adults ages 18 and older can achieve sobriety.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Prepares treatment plan for each patient
• Provides individual and group therapy
• Ensures all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is completed timely and in a clear and concise manner
• Provides crisis intervention to patients
• Assists with aftercare planning

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in social or health services
• Two or more years' experience in the counseling field
• At least one year clinical experience specifically with chemically dependent / dually diagnosed population
• Associate/Provisional clinical licensure
• If not already in process, willingness to obtain licensure or certification in the addiction field
• Crisis Prevention/De-escalation certification and CPR & First Aid (Offered at facility).
• Ability to work with male/female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed population.
• Must be able to work with culturally diverse populations.
• Complete ongoing education and training, as required by the state in which the facility operates and applicable accrediting body.

PREFERRED:

• Master's Degree in social or health services with 1 year or more year of experience in the counseling field
• Full clinical licensure in substance abuse, behavioral health or related field
• Knowledge of 12-step recovery programs.
• Crisis Prevention and CPR certifications (offered on site)
• Ability to work with male and female adult (18 ) patients with chemical dependency and mental health disorders
