Qualified applicant should have no less than high school or general equivalency diploma (GED). Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates with Business degree/coursework and five (5) years' experience in a benefits-related are preferred.
Must have strong computer and organizational skills. Must be able to calculate premiums for billing, maintain spreadsheets, and utilize various databases for information, troubleshooting, and reporting.
The successful candidate will work in the employee benefits office assisting employees and families with enrollment, coverage and termination of coverage.
This is a 12-month (260 days) assignment with insurance and retirement benefits. Salary will be determined by experience and placement on Grade 7 of the Salaried Classified Salary Schedule. Starting pay will be no less than $42,201 per year.
