Our client is looking for Project Manager to manage the execution of the events. They need to build some discipline and rigor within the team. They had a lot of changes to the model last quarter. The role of the PM is managing the execution of this new discipline. They want to minimize the duplication of the work in our high-volume situation. Working on a ticketing system - much of it is standard, some of it needs to be designed. The volume of stake holders to manage needs to be more disciplined. Event execution is vital! 50/50 meetings and heads down work.
What You Get To DoThe main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project.
  • Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Must speak French Canadian
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 2-4 years’ experience required.
Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.
Compensation And Benefits
  • Hourly contract rate range of $43.00 to $48.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
