Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals to promote their independence and well-being
- Engage individuals in meaningful activities and community integration opportunities
- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and any incidents or observations
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
- Knowledge of person-centered planning and trauma-informed care approaches
- Familiarity with workforce development programs and resources
- Understanding of addiction counseling principles and techniques
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training development is a plus
- Background in social work or related field is beneficial

- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for supporting individuals in their personal growth and development
- Ability to educate and mentor individuals in acquiring new skills and achieving their goals
- Excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
