Job Description

As the Director of Paid Media at Windfall, you will lead our paid media department, driving strategies and campaigns across various digital channels to maximize client ROI and achieve business objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of paid media specialists, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services that align with client goals and agency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute paid media strategies aligned with client objectives, leveraging your expertise in SEM, display advertising, social media advertising, traditional media and other paid channels.
  • Conduct thorough audience research and competitor analysis to inform strategy development and optimizations.

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of paid media campaigns across multiple platforms including social, programmatic, CTV, search and more.
  • Monitor campaign performance and budgets closely, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns for performance and ROI.
  • Ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly, adhering to timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Manage and mentor a team of paid media specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business goals and translating them into actionable paid media strategies.
  • Present campaign performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients, demonstrating value and driving retention.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as creative, analytics, and account management to ensure integrated marketing campaigns that deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3 years) in managing paid media campaigns, ideally within an advertising agency or similar environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital advertising platforms including Google Ads, Meta and DSPs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field.
  •  Full-time, on-site position.
  • In-state travel periodically required.
