Windham School District is Hiring an Administrative Assistant II-Human Resources (Part-Time) Near Huntsville, TX

Job Title: Administrative Assistant II - Human ResourcesWage/Hour Status: NonexemptPay Group: P10 Salary PlanPrimary Purpose: Provide routine clerical work assistance to support Human Resources operations.
QualificationsEducation/Certification/Experience:High school diploma from an accredited high school or hold GED.
Three years of full-time, wage-earning general clerical, secretarial, or administrative support. Timekeeping experience preferred.
This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely.
Special Knowledge/SkillsSkill in the use of computers and peripheral equipment.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Skill to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Major Responsibilities And Duties
  • Provide support and assistance within Human Resources.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of timekeeping data using manual or electronic systems.
  • Review and verify time sheets submitted by employees for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with obtaining background information for volunteers and substitute teachers.
  • Assist with special projects.

  • Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information received in the performance of the job duties.
  • Perform duties in a professional manner through daily, punctual attendance at locations of work assignment.
  • Follow Windham School District policies and procedures in completing assigned job duties.
  • Execute duties in a professional, ethical and responsible manner as defined in 19 TAC Chapter 247, Code of Ethics and Standard Practices for Texas Educators.
