Assists the Nursing Department with day-to-day administrative functions in accordance with current governmental regulations and
company policies and procedures.

before entering a resident's room
 Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures
Is responsible for submitting and following up on lab reports on a daily basis.
Maintains an up-to-date roster of residents and current listing of emergency phone numbers.
 Follows process to ensure supplies are tracked and charged appropriately. Answers telephone, pages call, delivers messages to residents, etc., as necessary.
Records appropriate resident identification data on designated medical records, wristbands, ID cards, etc., as required.
Forwards new diet orders and/or diet changes to the Dietary Services Director.
 Helps arrange resident appointments for diagnostic and therapeutic services and keeps nursing staff informed of
resident's appointment
