Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Overview of job responsibilities and duties: Working with your Team Leader (Charge Nurse (RN)), as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will be responsible for:
- Rendering nursing care to residents.
- Observing and reporting symptoms and conditions.
- Taking vital signs.
- Administering medications and recording reactions.
- Collaborating with physicians regarding changes in condition.
- Maintaining records reflecting the resident’s ongoing condition(s).
- Assist with feeding residents needing support.
- Assist in improving the overall welfare of the residents.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements: Current license with Ohio Board of Nursing, CPR Certified (BLS preferred).
