Windstar Lines, Inc. is Hiring a Dispatcher Near Rockford, IL

Are you ready to join a team oriented and fast paced work environment? Windstar Lines has an immediate opening for a full time Charter Bus Logistics expert at our Rockford, IL terminal.

Salary based on experience range of $45,000-$50,000. Previous dispatch experience preferred. Schedule would be Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Training schedule may vary.

Daily Tasks include:

  • Scheduling our driving staff.
  • Communicating with our customers via email and phone on a routinely basis.
  • Logistically planning routes, providing maps, and etc.
  • Working within the DOT/Hours of service regulations.

Work with a great group of professional commercial drivers and customers scheduling local and nationwide charters. You will also work closely with other dispatchers throughout Windstar to assist in dispatch needs from other locations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive customer service experience.
  • Computer skills including Windows applications and MS Excel. Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective and professional communication with both customers and drivers.
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations a plus.
