WINDSWEPT ACADEMY is Hiring a Science Teacher Near Eagle, SD
- Teach middle and high school students using the approved Science curriculum. Plan and organize instruction;
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning, and integrate biblical truth into science instruction;
- Organize and manage the classroom environment to maximize learning. Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom;
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with students and parents/guardians, your supervisor and other staff members;
- Implement a learning plan for each student;
- Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback. Participate in teacher-parent/guardian conferences;
- Be well-organized and committed; and
- Be creative and energetic.
- Personal relationship with Christ;
- Bachelor's Degree in secondary education, teaching OR in a field of science;
- Teaching experience preferred, but not required;
- Teaching license/certification preferred, but not required;
- Preferred endorsement in the specific subject area (General Science or a field in science, such as Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, etc.), but not required;
- Must pass a background check; and
