As a WINGS Leader, you'll step into a pivotal role as a mentor, guiding our students through enriching experiences and fostering growth in a supportive environment. With a mentor-to-student ratio of no more than 1:12, you'll have the chance to make a genuine impact and witness the transformation firsthand.

As a WINGS Leader, you'll:

• Deliver impactful "teachable moments" through our WINGS Words to Live By and weekly Learning Objectives.
• Lead a variety of activities, from games to academic center time, fostering a fun and engaging atmosphere.
• Collaborate with external partners, parents, and teachers to enhance our programs and projects.
• Embrace diversity and create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected.

Requirements:

• Availability to commit to serving every school day, from approximately 1:30pm to 6:30pm throughout the academic year.
• Strong social and emotional skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with children.
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, coupled with a knack for problem-solving.
• A passion for youth development and social and emotional learning, with previous experience or education in related fields being a plus.
