WinnCompanies is Hiring a Residential Project Inspector (Tri-Command) Near Beaufort, SC

WinnCompanies is looking for a Residential Project Inspector to join our Tri-Command military housing team in Beaufort, SC.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that operational and special projects are delivered in accordance with safety, schedule, and budget expectations.

Please note that this opportunity offers a typical work schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship with the day-to-day activities of the technicians, coordinators, and subcontractors.
  • Adjust technician and subcontractors’ schedules as needed to meet goals and deadlines provided. Responsible for performance management of operational and special projects technicians and subcontractors.
  • Scope and identify operational and special projects including estimating time and cost to complete projects.
  • Provide support and is a resource for problem-solving throughout the task. Promptly document cost, scope, and material estimates per task for forecasting and purchase order creation.
  • Complete Quality Control activities and subcontractor verification for operational and special project work.
  • Perform Quality Control checks for service request process for technician and subcontracted work to ensure time and quality expectations are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractor on scheduling ensuring that the impact to occupancy and residents are minimized.
  • Work with all departments on concerns with capital project work, includes investigation resident complaints and resolve when possible and coordinating subcontractor work and schedule specialty work to be performed outside of the normal appointment system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • Strong general construction knowledge.
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.
  • Ability to summarize and communicate moderately complex information to internal and external customers.
  • Experience in construction and/or remodeling/renovation of residential dwellings.
  • Knowledge of environmental protocols specific to ACM, LBP, and Mold.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC or appliance certifications.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property manager software.
