Responsibilities:1. Undergraduate & Graduate Catalogs. Produce and publish the WSU online Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs annually. Coordinate review of catalog information with over 60 academic departments, Warrior Hub Enrollment Services Center, Admissions, Financial Aid, Warrior Success Center, Academic Affairs, Registrar’s Office, and other catalog contributors. Compare DARS and catalog for accuracy and work with campus departments when making necessary curriculum changes. Assemble drafts and edit corrections and updates to catalog. Produce final proof and publication of catalog. Coordinate catalog review to include 508 compliance. Stay current on catalog software and be the expert on campus for catalog-related questions. Determine and adhere to established catalog deadlines. Document business rules, campus procedures and resources. Manage Security Rights and Roles. Identify and recommend campus users to the security manager for their editing level permissions. Perform administrative duties as they relate to the catalog software management (e.g., software updates). Establish consistent design rules and content procedures for formatting the catalogs and maintaining consistency with the rest of WSU website. Develop and provide process and catalog software training for campus users. Understand how related programming (ie: Curriculog) works with catalog software and assist with merger implementation for optimal use of both programs. Make decisions related to marketing the catalog, management of curricular information, gaining viewership, and increasing usability and user friendliness.2. NCAA Eligibility. Assist registrar staff and the Athletics Department with determining NCAA eligibility. Review student athletes’ DARS and transcripts for appropriate GPA and progress towards degree. Act as Enrollment Services team lead for this activity.3. Enrollment Services Team. Provide front desk Warrior Hub customer service as part of a rotating team of counselor-level professional service faculty. Have point of contact to decision-making authority in this role. Assist in performing assignments related to operational communications for Warrior Hub. Assist in development and implementation of ongoing training for Warrior Hub. Utilize social media to connect with students regarding registration, financial aid, and other Warrior Hub related information. Working and operational knowledge of ISRS, SalesForce, SharePoint, KnowledgeLake, web and other business tools used at the Warrior Hub. Assist in development and maintenance of web sites and software applications associated with the Warrior Hub Enrollment Services area.4. Scholarship Data Management.Provide support with management and entry of scholarship data into financial aid awards. This includes making decisions regarding award modification to adhere to cost of attendance awarding based on scholarship entry amounts.5. Degree Auditing and Diploma Services. Assist in performing provisional and final degree audits. Knowledge of and adherence to federal and state statutes, MnSCU Board Policy, University Regulations and Academic Policy. Working and operational knowledge of the DARS articulation and program modules and the ISRS graduation application and graduation modules.6. Perform other duties as assigned that support the University, Student Life and Development division, and departmental priorities and initiatives including professional development and campus committee participation.Working ConditionsThis position requires occasional evening and weekend assignments.Some overnight travel required to attend conferences or training.Must be able to travel independently.Physical EffortMust be able to load, unload, carry and set up materials at various event sites.Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
