Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions

Requirements: This position requires experienced skills in the following areas; strong supervisory skills, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, extensive experience in the preparation and presentation of workshops, and a understanding of effective adult educational techniques. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in higher education administration or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred. Two to three years experience in student leadership development, higher education or similar role. Strong understanding of Leadership Theory and its application in student development.

Design, implement, and assess leadership development programs, workshops, and retreats tailored to student needs.
Promote a culture of leadership and service by coordinating campus-wide events that celebrate student achievement and foster community involvement.
Coordinate annual leadership conferences, speaker series, and leadership awards ceremonies.
Manage day-to-day operations of leadership programs, ensuring alignment with the institution’s mission and goals.
Foster a leadership culture by creating opportunities for students to explore various leadership styles, team dynamics, and self-awareness.
Facilitate leadership training sessions focused on skills such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration.
Maintain up-to-date leadership resources and materials for student access.

Serve as a mentor and advisor for students seeking to enhance their leadership skills and competencies.
Provide one-on-one advising for student leaders, helping them set personal leadership goals.
Support students in identifying leadership opportunities on and off campus.
Develop partnerships with academic departments, student affairs, and community organizations to enhance leadership opportunities.
Work with faculty and staff to integrate leadership principles into co-curricular and curricular activities.
Serve as a liaison between the student body and campus administration on leadership-related issues.
Promote student involvement in experiential learning opportunities such as internships, research projects and other high impact engagements.
Utilize assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of programs and their impact on student learning and development.
