SUMMARY: WinTec Arrowmaker, Inc. is a defense contractor dedicated to providing outstanding program management, engineering, logistics, and operations support to Department of Defense customers. The Mid-Level ISRG Jira On-Tgt will develop and maintain the capabilities of the unit’s Target Production Management System. Applicant will work closely with the rest of the organization and external business teams to effectively support the unit’s mission. The Mid-Level Special Security Officer will coordinate ISR production requirements with production organizations and troubleshoot/de-conflict customer request information; shall report directly to the WinTec Program Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop local unit Cybersecurity programs and security plan IAW ACC, AF, IC, and DOD guidance.
• Design and maintain custom projects, workflows, schemes, screens, field configurations, automations, user permissions, and project roles in Jira/Confluence.
• Maintain access lists and perform security tests to ensure proper restrictions are in place.
• Perform routine audits of the database to ensure consistent field usage and accurate reporting; work with teams to resolve inconsistencies.
• Create and manage custom JQL filters, dashboards, and Confluence pages as needed.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve Jira issues reported by end-users.
• Coordinate with Jira Admin peers to provide Jira guidance, suggestions, and solutions as needed; provide support with application, system, issue, and project configuration as needed.
• Audit, improve, and automate processes and workflows as needed; determine ways to optimize Jira/Confluence.
• Conduct training for staff on Jira/Confluence regarding how to use the tools, navigate projects and spaces, etc.
• Analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement; write custom, complex JQL filters.

  • Develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
  • Provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline with Air Force/DOD experience -OR- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline with an additional 4 Air Force/DOD experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the bachelor’s degree.
• 6 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to Mid-Level ISRG Jira On-Tgt with at least a portion of the experience being with the AF/DOD within the last 2 years.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with scripting/programming/automation strongly preferred.
• Experience with Air Force ISR operations.
• Experience with Target Production Management Systems (On Target, Krampus, Terminator, JEMS, etc.).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliant.
• Military background or familiarity with military command and control structures.
• Possess a working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, federal, state, and local agencies.
• Demonstrate time management, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Ability to efficiently react to shifting program requirements and work in a team environment.
• Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
