We are seeking an exceptional fast-paced family law paralegal to grow with us. At Winthrop Law Offices, we have developed a proprietary litigation system that we follow that allows our team to work as efficiently as possible and win more cases with less stress. The attorney you will work with is fast, organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy. She will expect the same of you. This is a full-time position with office hours from 8:30 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday since you will be working from home, you must have zero background noise. Requirements:

• Minimum of two-plus years' experience as a paralegal in Family Law practicing in Florida. You must be able to hit the ground running.
• Has a friendly yet assertive phone voice and can handle the clients. We do have a receptionist.
• Draft quickly and accurately with exceptional grammar, spelling, writing, and organizational skills.
• Must live in Florida. We normally meet a least once a year in Orlando for paid training.

• Able to multi-task and work under tight timelines: You will frequently have several tasks to complete. You will need to be adept at prioritizing tasks, seeking guidance when you are unsure of what to prioritize, and meeting multiple deadlines. Our office is fast-paced, so you should be the type of person who thrives under the pressure of various deadlines.
• Able to speak clearly and effectively communicate with other attorneys, opposing counsel's staff, other administrative staff, and the Court.
• Have excellent attention to detail

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Draft Pleadings, Motions, Final Judgments, Retainers, Subpoenas, Notices of Hearings, Discovery, and drafting and responding to letters and emails (to clients, judges, and opposing counsel), etc.
• Processing payments, drafting retainers, payment requests, onboarding new clients for your attorney, and helping with others if needed. Each attorney has their own paralegal, and we have a receptionist.
• Keeping and scheduling your attorney's calendar via MyCase.
