Position Summary/Job Description:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles with Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of AWS services to architect, develop, and optimize scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and monitoring using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications and services for performance, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to implement and enhance security best practices, compliance, and data protection.
- Participate in cross-functional team discussions, code reviews, and technical discussions to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members.
- Relevant engineering experience such as software development; critical reasoning skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; experience delivering quality engineering outcomes.
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a strong plus
