*Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a skilled Utility Locator with experience in Copper Utility Locating to join our team. Experience with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utility locating, with proficiency in using Copper Utility Locators to accurately detect and map underground utilities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct utility locating surveys using Copper Utility Locators and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment.
- Utilize Copper Utility Locators to detect metallic utilities such as copper pipes and cables.
- Operate GPR equipment to detect and map a wide range of underground utilities, including gas, water, sewer, telecommunications, and electrical lines.
- Interpret GPR and Copper Locator data to accurately identify the location and depth of underground utilities.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure precise utility markings and minimize excavation risks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment on job sites.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports of survey findings to clients and project stakeholders.
-Experience working within the 811 Sunshine system.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience as a Utility Locator, with specific experience in Copper Utility Locating and GPR technology.
- Proficiency in operating Copper Utility Locators and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment.
- Strong understanding of underground utility systems and their characteristics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
