Resumes are being accepted for the full-time position of at the processing plant located in Cudahy, Wisconsin. This is a commercial healthcare laundry operation involving all aspects of production duties normally associated with the laundry/linen rental business. This position will supervise and assist in the management of the production activities of the laundry facility and the administration of policies and procedures applicable for productive and efficient operation.

Day Shift; FT with benefits.

Applicants must be able to work flexible hours that may include some nights and weekends with the work week sometimes exceeding 40 hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

· A completed employment application

· Graduation from a secondary school or equivalent, industry experience and/or technical college with appropriate course work preferred.

Work Experience

· Two years’ experience in industrial laundry operations or related work experience or two years supervisory experience to become familiar with accepted supervisory and personnel practices and standards.

· Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required

· Experience in a production industrial environment preferred

· Ability to load, handle, sort and record incoming soiled textiles; prepares and transfers textiles to other departments.

· Ability to count, fold, stack, wrap and pack clean textiles by hand or by machinery

· Ability to communicate orally or in writing

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

· The position under consideration may require the individual to be an approved licensed driver.

· The position requires the individual to lift, carry, load items weighing 50 lbs. or more frequently and be able to push rolling carts.

· Ability to work for long periods of time on a raised platform.
