Location: WIS-PAK of NORFOLK

Position: Syrup Batcher

Reports To:QA Lead Person/ QA Manager

JOB SUMMARY

• Batches syrup for the production lines.

JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(Note: The job functions relate to the job, not the individual)

• Read and understand syrup formulas and batching schedules.
• Set meters to correct quantities.
• Attach hoses and pumps properly.
• Lift up to 75lbs. chest to shoulder high.
• Program & sanitize batching equipment.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Test finished syrup batches according to parent company specifications.
• Be able to accurately weigh bulk salts.
• Scan items accurately out of inventory and complete WO’s.
• Follow all Food Safety and GMP Policies.

JOB DUTIES/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS(Not fundamental job duties)

• Drive forklifts.
• Recycling.
• Test incoming sweetener loads.
• Check-in concentrate loads.
• Make controlled drinks and assist in lab.
