Wisconsin Disability Service Provider Network is Hiring a Quality Improvement and Field Operations Manager Near Madison, WI

Essential Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Director for Safety and Security, this position is responsible for fulfilling WisDOT Roadside Facilities program contract deliverables of quality assurance by conducting field inspections of properties throughout the state. The position includes establishing positive lines of communication with providers to ensure outstanding customer service. This position will spend significant time in the field performing onsite inspections of facilities, and will provide training to ensure facilities and provider teams follow WisDOT policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, some college preferred.
  • Demonstrated success working as a member of a small team. A background in customer service, communications, and/or project management experience is desired.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Develop knowledge of DSPN/WisDOT contractual agreements, policies and procedures, along with DSPN mission and priorities.
  • Background or familiarity with general building systems, their operation and routine maintenance is desirable.

Skills Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and ability to independently proof and generate accurate work.
  • Oriented toward continuous quality improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and administrative skills.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products, Adobe or other PDF writer software, email, internet, and devices such as laptops, iPads and cell phones.

Abilities Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively work across stakeholder groups such as WisDOT and providers. This includes the ability to resolve conflicts, provide constructive feedback and quality negotiating.
  • Ability to independently prepare and recommend ideas for continuous quality improvement and then present them to management and WisDOT team for consideration and approval.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to DSPN’s insurance carrier.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) WisDOT Roadside Facilities Contract deliverables:

A. Quality assurance and continuous improvement through onsite facility inspections, updates to policy and procedure manuals and ongoing training and technical assistance. Some overnight travel will be required.

B. Communications and customer service with WisDOT, providers and DSPN leadership to ensure all program stakeholders are aligned on program evolving needs in the field.
