We have been engaged by an Austin, TX based firm to identify qualified candidates for an important Account Executive role for their team.

This position will identify, prospect, reach out to, and close new business opportunities for our client's company (direct hire position). We focus on the emerging technology industry and sell to small and medium businesses primarily by phone, although some travel may be required.

The position will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle including:

1. Identification of potential clients,
2. prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn etc,
3. preparing sales presentations,
4. attending sales meetings,
5. and working through contract negotiations.

Further activity will include SEO work, social media generation and website content creation. Although sales will be the primary objective of this role, the responsibilities and specific activities will be broad, providing for diverse experience

A 4 year degree is strongly preferred and 2-3 years sales experience is also preferred.

Position will be base plus commission and based in Austin, TX (2 days a week in office).
