Wisner Care Center is a nursing home and assisted living facility located in Wisner, NE. We offer 38 skilled nursing beds and 14 assisted living beds, providing compassionate care and support to our residents..

Pay: $28.36- $33

Hours: PRN, every 3rd weekend, every 3rd holiday, and a chance to pick-up hours during the week

Duties:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems like Cerner
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Assist with the coordination of patient care, including referrals to specialists and arranging durable medical equipment (DME)
- Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as dementia or those requiring senior care or toddler care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care
- Stay up-to-date with current medical practices and advancements in nursing

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in [NE]
- Experience administering injections and performing patient assessments
- Strong knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
