Role: AP & Payroll Manager

Location: Washington, DC - Hybrid

Hours: 40 hours (Full time)

Pay Rate: $40 - $55 / Hour

Our client has an immediate need for a Payroll & AP Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This right candidate for this position will be comfortable supervising/overseeing the AP & Payroll team. Please contact us today to discuss this opportunity!

Job Responsibilities:

• 5 years of experience
• 3 years of management experience
• ADP & Great Plains experience (preferred)
• Knowledgeable on Federal and state laws and regulations applicable to Payroll
• Multi-state payroll processing for 100 employees
• Oversee Accounts Payable
• Payroll tax setup
• Payroll reconciliation
• Review AP invoices for accuracy, GL coding, and new vendor setup

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field - HIGHLY preferred
• CPP - (preferred, NOT required)
• 5 years of Payroll experience
• Strong understanding of full cycle AP process
• Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP) required
• ADP - highly preferred
• Great Plains - preferred
• High attention to detail
• Willing to commute 2x / week to Washington, DC
