CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION

As the Warehouse Manager for our dynamic event company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse activities. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. Your proactive approach, organizational skills, and leadership abilities will contribute to the success of our team and the satisfaction of our clients.

Reports to: Director of Operations.

Reporting Responsibility: Operations, & Production.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Plan inbound and outbound truck packs to ensure on-time deliveries and create maximum efficiency.

• Ensure all required AV equipment or fabricated objects are properly pulled and loaded for each order.

• Supervise and assist with order pulls and truck loads/unloads.

• Be the point of contact for active pull sheets.

• Work with the Inventory Specialist to ensure Flex inventory software and physical inventory are accurate.

• Work with the Inventory Specialist to ensure pull sheets/manifest are properly closed out.

• Follow and supervise all quality control procedures

• Ensure the warehouse is clean at the end of each day and deep cleaning is done as needed.

• Ensure that any safety concerns in the warehouse are quickly addressed and resolved.

• Ensure that the grounds including the parking lot of the building are maintained and any safety issues are addressed and resolved as quickly as possible.

• Assist with the coordination of trash removal building.

• Keep all truck and driver-required documentation up to date.

• Assist with the maintenance of the vehicles

• Assist with rental vehicle reservations, issues, and returns.

• Coordinate with coordinators, project managers, and other operational staff on rental order fulfillment and returns.

• Facilitate same-day orders and equipment quick turnarounds.

• Create and manage daily/weekly/monthly tasks and reporting to ensure the smooth functioning of the warehouse and KPI’s

• Forecast and anticipate upcoming staffing and trucking demands on a 30, 60- and 90-day basis.

• Provide management, supervision, and leadership of 10-20 employees.

• Anticipate warehouse problems/issues and actively work to prevent them.

• Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and effectiveness.

• Maintain stock of warehouse supplies and consumables.

• Serve as the point of contact for all project managers, via Slack, phone, or email for order-related issues and questions.

• Provide daily direction and accountability to warehouse employees to ensure warehouse work is completed within the time allotted.

• Coordinate personnel schedules for warehouse associates and drivers to meet business demands.

• Allocate warehouse personnel resources.

• Provide training to warehouse team members.

• Assist in conducting annual employee reviews and discipline.

• Assist in hiring efforts to include recruitment, interviews, and onboarding.

• Assist in the development of policies and procedures to increase workplace efficiency.

• Ensure that the Director of Operations is up to date on all information regarding the warehouse.

• Stay current on modern technology and industry trends.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.

• Assist or manage other projects as needed.

• Demonstrate and support a safe working environment.

• Work some weekends and after-hours as needed.

 Qualifications and Skills:

• Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED.

• Great communication and problem-solving skills

• Highly organized and efficient

• Possess working knowledge/experience in staging setup and operational logistics.

• Possess at least five (5) years of experience in AV, rental, event production, or warehousing

• Quality focus

• Demonstrated supervisory/management experience.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Excellent time management and macro view of workflow.

• Ability to follow processes and direct others.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Prior experience with Slack, Flex Rental Solutions, and Google Workspace

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
