Christian Family Solutions Counseling Care and Services is looking for their next part-time Online Day Treatment for Teens Program Therapist in Mankato. This position offers a $750 sign on bonus after 6 months of employment and $750 retention bonus after 1 year!

We are recruiting a Part-Time Program Therapist to provide services through our Minnesota Online Day Treatment Program for Teens. Clients receive clinical, evidence-based treatment that addresses their behavioral, emotional, and psychological needs through both group sessions and individual therapy sessions.

What you will be doing
In this remote role, you'll be conducting individual therapy sessions with clients and their families using evidence-based techniques. You'll also be able to facilitate psycho-education groups and process groups. You'll collaborate with your team members to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to your client's needs.
This position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. If you're willing to lead groups, the Minnesota Online group meets Monday - Friday, 9am-11am. You'll work with your team to determine your scheduled group days. Clinical supervision is provided at no cost to you. As a part-time employee, you'll be eligible for our 401(k) plan and employer match policy, and our Paid Time Off (PTO) policy compliant with Minnesota regulations.

Requirements

  • Preferred applicants will meet the qualification for Mental Health Professionals:
    • Possession of one of the following licenses as a Mental Health Professional under Minnesota statute 245I.04, subdivision 2 :
      • Licensed professional clinical counseling: a licensed professional clinical counselor licensed under section 148B.5301; or
      • Licensed marriage and family therapy: a marriage and family therapist licensed under sections 148B.29 to 148B.392; or
      • Clinical social work: a licensed independent clinical social worker as defined in section 148E.050, subdivision 5.
  • Applicants meeting the criteria for Clinical Trainee status under Minnesota statute 245I.04,subdivision 6 will also be considered:
  • Enrolled in an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is participating in a practicum or internship with the license holder through the individual's graduate program; or
  • Completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is in compliance with the requirements of the applicable health-related licensing board, including requirements for supervised practice.
  • Experience working with adolescents and/or their families.
  • Understanding of mental health conditions as they impact behavior.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred.
  • Willingness to support the mission of Christian Family Solutions and uphold a biblical worldview in the clinical setting.
