WLR is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented person to join our team as an Accountant. This position will oversee the daily audit of sales transactions across our network of 30 locations. This role will involve scrutinizing both cash and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

What you'll do:

· Conduct daily audits of sales transactions for 30 locations.

· Prepare and post journal entries.

· Verify and reconcile cash and credit card transactions against sales records.

· Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

· Collaborate with store managers and other departments to address audit findings.

· Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit results.

· Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

· Complete other month-end and year-end closing procedures.

· Conduct trainings for internal management staff on how to complete the daily sales cash reconciliation procedure.

· Develop comprehensive training materials for internal management staff on completing the daily sales reconciliation procedure.

· Work closely with location management staff to understand and ensure financial data accuracy.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Accountant I or similar role is required.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred. CPA not required.

· Experience with Microsoft Excel
