Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge in West St. Paul offers senior living with services to 127 customers, a 37-bed transitional care and rehabilitation center, 24 memory care apartments and 10 care suites.
Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge seeks Physical Therapists to join their rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapist will provide high-quality physical therapy services for residents/patients and care givers in accordance with the standards and practices of physical therapy, state, and federal regulations and Walker Methodist policies and procedures. They will work collaboratively with team members to facilitate attainment
of outcomes. 

Schedule:

On-call availability: Saturday rotation. Weekday availability. Other shifts as needed, and at least one holiday per year.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to incorporate all aspects of physical therapy in total resident/patient care.
• Work collaboratively with other disciplines.
• Facilitate all residents to their highest level of function.
• Ability to grasp new theories and principles and implement them into practice.
• Understand and implement state and federal regulations for long-term care.
• Prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks within a day.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain productivity standards.
• Computer/data-entry skills.
• Embrace and live out qualities of servant leadership.

Minimum qualifications:

• MN Physical Therapist certification
• Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Proven positive skills in working successfully with a team or independently
• Diverse background in clinical experiences and training with the senior population
• Creative, proven communication skills and the ability to prioritize and organize
• High degree of self-motivation and commitment to the patients we serve
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
• Sensitivity to resident needs and the ability to build positive relationships
