Our Foam manufacturing facility located in Phoenix, AZ is currently hiring for a Saw Operator 

JOB SUMMARY

The Saw Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring that production processes are executed efficiently while meeting quality standards and safety requirements .

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Operate the assigned production line and associated production equipment to meet customer requirements
• Perform visual inspections of fiber and finished rolls, and monitor product quality
• Assist in start-up operations, offloads, and weighs finished rolls
• Wrap and package product, and dispose of product waste appropriately
• Maintain equipment by performing and documenting selected maintenance of production line and associated equipment
• Comply with all safety rules and requirements, maintaining good housekeeping and workplace organization
• Cut foam block to specified thickness using horizontal band saw and handsaw
• Other duties as assigned 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards
• Efficiency and accuracy in production tasks
• Proper maintenance and operation of equipment 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety guidelines
• Physical ability to lift between 50lbs and occasionally up to 100lbs
• Ability to work under physically demanding conditions and withstand high temperatures
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Working with heavy machinery in a production environment
• Physical demands including lifting, standing, and manual handling of materials
• Operating in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and physical conditions
