We are currently hiring for a Sheet Metal Fabricator.
Sheet Metal Fabricator Job Summary
Preparation, fabrication, and installation of sheet metal products for use on various projects across all business lines of the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- None
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assemble and join sheet metal parts through welding, riveting, soldering, and other appropriate techniques, ensuring structural integrity and that quality standards are met.
- Accurately measure and mark dimensions on sheet metal materials to ensure precise cuts and fit.
- Utilize technical drawings and blueprints to install fabricated sheet metal components and structures according to project specifications, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including measurements, materials used, and time spent on various tasks.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, technical manuals and manufacturers’ manuals and instructions.
- Have attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least five (5) to six (6) years of experience with commercial sheet metal duct installation.
- Experienced with installing square and spiral ductwork.

Physical Requirements
- The position is active and requires extensive standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, stooping, crawling, climbing, and crouching.
- Able to climb ladders and work off scaffolding.
- Able to lift, carry, and or push up to 50 – 75 lbs. throughout the shift (including overtime)
- Able to work in all outdoor elements with exposure to uneven terrain.
