WNDR is looking for a senior leader to build out the company’s operational foundations and better position our brand for growth. Operating under the creative direction of WNDRs Founder and visionary, WNDR’s COO will be responsible for ensuring the fiscal integrity and operational excellence of the organization.

Working out of our flagship location in Chicago, IL, this person will build and lead a diverse and passionate team of creators, innovators and do-ers towards a shared vision of inspiring awe through an interactive experience unlike any other in its category. A leader in the truest sense, the COO will be able to manage the organization holistically, across all departments and disciplines, to clearly articulate, coordinate and inspire our team towards shared goals and objectives.

• Operational oversight and strategic direction companywide
• Building and implementing company practices, policies, procedures and strategies
• Providing guidance and direction to marketing, events, and retail teams
• Establish, track and meet goals to increase WNDR’s profitability
• Identify and execute new opportunities for revenue generation
• Regularly meet with all members of leadership to make informed strategic decisions, ensure departments are run efficiently and to ensure alignment on all short and long term objectives
• Responsible for the overall leadership and strategic planning of the business in collaboration with WNDR’s Founder and Executive team members
• Responsible for the overall programmatic and fiscal integrity of the business
• Build, inspire and lead a small but mighty team of agile innovators across all business disciplines and functions

• At least 10 years of experience as a senior leader in operations
• Previous experience building and managing operations in hospitality, theater production, theme parks, events/tradeshows or other experiential or immersive experiences highly preferred
• A proven executor with the organizational skills to manage working in a fast-paced, multi-project, startup environment 
• Strong organizational and time management skills, able to easily adapt to changing environments
• Proven business acumen in forecasting, budgeting and ensuring profitability 
• A strong motivator, skilled in cultivating diverse team’s talents and setting high and consistent standards across multiple locations and departments 
• A skilled public speaker with strong oral and written skills capable of inspiring effective change management
• Familiarity and comfort with a diverse set of business functions including marketing, finance and HR
