The Senior Business Development Manager works to execute the strategic sales goals of the Chief Revenue Officer. Using proven best practices and experience, the Senior Business Development Manager will work with the internal sales team and develop home grown prospects to close new opportunities and maximize revenue and margin.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Proactively source sales leads and opportunities to ensure revenue opportunities are maximized. Direct responsibility for growth with regards to new clients.
2. Work collaboratively with Chief Revenue Officer, Vice Presidents, and Group Senior Management as well as appropriate support resources to deliver sales objectives and exceed new client expectations.
3. Work collaboratively with the operations teams to sell into new businesses.
4. Respond to Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) as received.
5. Participate in the development of proposals and presentations to new business opportunities.
6. Assist in development of pricing for new business opportunities.
7. Attend and participate in Local and Regional Tradeshows, Trade organizations, and client/new client events to promote The brand.
Experience/Knowledge (Preferred Experience/Knowledge Only)
• Minimum 5 years’ demonstrated sales experience with a focus on enterprise security solutions, manned guarding, or a services environment.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in presenting.
• Minimum 5 years of pricing development experience.
Specific Job Skills (eg. computer skills, communication, motivation, organizational skills)
· Ability to identify prospects, generate leads, and close deals.
· Driven attitude to achieve results.
· Expert knowledge of the sales process and customer relationship/rapport management.
· Highly organized individual capable of completing tasks with competing deadlines.
· Fluent in MS Office Suite.
· Fluent in Salesforce
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
