Leasing Consultant

Wolfe & Taylor is currently seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Update availability
• Contact/Follow Up with all rental prospects, creating urgency to apply. Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, which include providing leasing information, making appointments, greeting clients, assessing needs, etc. Provide excellent customer service and assist all clients with a positive and friendly tone
• Following up with maintenance requests
• Process applications, and once approved by the PM prepare and review lease agreements and renewal leases
• Perform move out and move in inspections
• Obtain property marketing photos
• Adjust leasing adds accordingly
• Put out “for rent,” signs
• Submit move out inspection to APM to gather bids for turn
• Follow up with upcoming move ins, ensure required documents and payments are received, prep move in packets, and prepare for move in
• Assist APM in coordinating roommate release/roommate additions
• Coordinate occupied showings with residents and prospects. Must be able to tour properties which includes walking the property and climbing stairs
• Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and assisting to ensure a smooth move-in
• Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, which includes providing leasing information, making appointments, and creating and following up with maintenance requests
• Assist with completing weekly, monthly, and special reports as assigned by the Assistant Manager or Property Manager
• Receive deposits and rent money, and record appropriately.
• Additional duties as assigned

Skills Needed:

Must be detail oriented, punctual, and self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as software applications.

Previous leasing experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.92 per hour
