As an emergency services specialist, you will play a key role in the operation and success of the emergency services program, protecting Wolfspeed’s people, property, and processes at an assigned location.

This position works with colleagues from production, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities, and external emergency response agencies to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergency incidents.

Employees in this role are required to wear self-contained breathing apparatus and other respiratory protective equipment as an essential function of this job.

• Safely respond to fire, medical, and hazardous materials emergencies at an assigned Wolfspeed location
• Perform life safety and fire protection systems checks to ensure operational readiness
• Maintain an awareness and communicate information and activities that may result in an emergency response.
• Perform PPE and equipment cleaning, maintenance, inspection and repair to ensure operational readiness
• Collect and report information related to non-emergency and emergency activities
• Experience responding to medical, hazardous material, and / or fire emergencies
• At least two of the following : certification as a hazardous materials technician, emergency medical technician, or firefighter
• Ability to accomplish work goals independently and with colleagues in peer work groups
• This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.

This role may require additional duties and / or assignments as designated by management.
