Who we are?
WOM (shorthand for Word of Mouth) is an AI-first, mobile-first, and community-first restaurant discovery platform that will soon be launching out of its beta in Los Angeles, and throughout the US shortly thereafter. WOM was built with the restaurant goer in mind with daily mission of "Power to the Eater," providing brutally honest reviews and content to help make better informed decisions and effortless discovery. Every restaurant goer in every major metro area will be using our app by the end of 2025.
Things you will do
We are seeking a Los Angeles community manager to supercharge our grassroots movement in Los Angeles.Responsibilities will include the following:
- Ideating and executing on local events and activations to drive mobile app installs
- Spending time with local restaurant owners and waiters to facilitate our content series
- Facilitating off the wall public relation and buzzworthy guerilla marketing efforts
- Added plus if you have growth marketing experience (SEO, advertising, social media)
Requirements
- Live in the Greater Los Angeles County area
- Willing to travel throughout Los Angeles during the week to meet restaurants
- Have a passion for food and understanding of the local restaurant scene
- Extremely creative and able to create new concepts, not copies of competitors
