Women Care is Hiring a Medical Scribe Near Jacksonville, FL
The Medical Scribe is primarily responsible for assisting the doctor and documenting patient accurate and detailed examination notes in the patient’s chart.
- Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam.
- Appropriately document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, medical procedures, treatment plans, medical opinions of consultants, diagnoses, medication/prescription information, and follow-up instructions Record details of the physical exam including pertinent positives, negatives and noted abnormalities.
- Record sufficient information in the physician's assessment and plan based on the level of complexity.
- Assist providers either during or following exam with patient.
- Navigate eClinicalWorks (eCW) and the patient’s electronic medical record.
- Monitor pending lab orders for results to help guide patient care.
- Review past history and test results on patients which are critical in driving medical decisions by the providers.
- Adhere to Women’s Care company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
