We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing and Brand to lead the development of compelling positioning, content, creative, and go-to-market plans that drive customer and financial growth. You’ll be the steward of our brand and represent the voice of our customers among the Marketing, Product, and Merchandising teams. This is a key leadership role in telling the Wine.com story across all our channels. What You’ll Do: Be an expert on Wine.com’s service and features, customer, and brand. Support development and execution of strategies for the Wine.com brand, products and features that translate customer segment insights and strategies into marketing plans that drive customer and financial growth. Develop go-to-market strategies for new feature releases and product launches, including setting goals and monitoring KPIs; partner with CRM and acquisition teams to execute these strategies. Own the Wine.com brand strategy and develop on-brand tactics (including positioning, targeting, messaging, imagery, etc.) that help improve the efficacy of our marketing spend and improve our site conversion. Manage homepage messaging and merchandising (in collaboration with the CRM and merchandising teams) Shape customer perceptions and build awareness of our core features by partnering with marketing and product teams to get the right message/experience to the right customer at the right point in time. Collaborate with marketing and product teams on customer journey mapping by providing data and customer insights to inform the ideal pathing for various customer segments. Utilize reports on customer trends, perceptions, site traffic, and transactional data to continuously refine your understanding of the customer and opportunities for our business. Represent the customer in Product/UX discussions and ensure we are building to their needs; support these efforts with customer research and user testing. Manage a team comprised of a graphic designer that supports all of Marketing, and a customer insights analyst. What You Bring to Wine.com: 6 years of experience in product marketing and/or brand strategy in an e-commerce business. Excellent communication skills with the ability to succinctly tell and write compelling stories. Analytically minded and able to translate data trends into business strategies. Collaborative leadership skills: ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams. Intense intellectual curiosity that drives you to continuously look for new insights. Ability to operate in the weeds and pull back to see the bigger picture. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump in wherever you see the need. Bachelor’s degree; MBA is a plus.
