Job brief:
The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing exceptional repair, maintenance, and installation services for windows and doors. Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· Represent and instilling the company’s core values
· Service and Repair: Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for various types of windows and doors, including vinyl, wood, aluminum, and fiberglass. Identify issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality and appearance.
· Installation Assistance: Assist the installation team when needed, ensuring that new windows and doors are installed accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with installation crews to ensure a seamless process.
· Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers. Use problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement corrective measures to prevent recurring problems.
· Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner. Address their questions, concerns, and requests, providing clear explanations of the work performed and any necessary follow-up steps.
· Quality Control: Perform thorough quality checks on completed repairs and installations to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations. Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, parts used, and time spent on each job. Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
· Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, product developments, and best practices in window and door installation and repair. Continuously enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
· Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing all tasks. Ensure that proper safety measures are followed to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
· Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including sales teams, project managers, and fellow technicians. Maintain open communication channels to ensure a coordinated approach to customer satisfaction.
