Wonderland Children's Academy in Knoxville, TN is looking for a Director to join our team.

Wonderland Children’s Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead our team. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our child care center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for all children. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to maintain the high standards of care and education that Wonderland Children’s Academy is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
• Develop and implement educational programs and activities that meet the developmental needs of children.
• Manage and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the center.
• Handle administrative duties such as budgeting, record-keeping, and reporting.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for children, staff, and families.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma 4 years of continuous employment in a licensed childcare agency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting
• Strong understanding of child development and early education best practices

Salary Range: $35,000 - $50,000 (based on experience)
