**Position:** Associate (Seasonal)

**Location:** The Cloak and Wand (Mystic, CT)

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Customer Engagement:**

- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor, making them feel like they are entering a magical world.

- Proactively provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and assisting with purchases.

2. **Food and Drink Preparation:**

- Prepare and serve a variety of delightful beverages and food items, following Wonderlosity's recipes and presentation standards.

- Ensure food safety and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.

3. **Immersive Retail Experience:**

- Contribute to the enchanting ambiance of the store by maintaining a tidy and visually appealing sales area.

- Participate in creating interactive displays and staging that immerse customers in the Wonderlosity experience.

4. **Product Knowledge:**

- Stay informed about Wonderlosity's product offerings, including their origin, stories, and unique qualities.

- Share this knowledge with customers to enhance their shopping experience.

5. **Cash Handling and Sales:**

- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

- Handle cash and maintain a balanced cash drawer.

6. **Team Collaboration:**

- Collaborate with fellow associates and team members to ensure a seamless and magical shopping experience.

- Assist in restocking/preparing merchandise and supplies and maintaining inventory levels.

- Assist in housekeeping of sales floor and food/drink area and communicate maintenance issue.

- Understand and demonstrate Company values as outlined in Employee Handbook

7. **Customer Feedback:**

- Gather customer feedback and insights to improve our products and services.

- Report any customer concerns or issues to management promptly.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.

- A passion for creating memorable customer experiences.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

- Willingness to learn about Wonderlosity's products and history.

- Seeks out and welcomes coaching from leaders and peers to improve productivity and customer experience

- Schedule flexibility that includes evenings, weekends, holidays and non-business hours
