Are you a leader who takes initiative? Wonderspring Early Education is looking for an Assistant Director at its STAR 4 Powelton Village early childhood center, which serves infants through preschoolers in West Philadelphia. Join a team dedicated to creating a fun, nurturing environment where children for children to learn and thrive. The Assistant Director will work with the Director in the overall management of the center including overseeing the quality of the program, meeting enrollment goals, program implementation, safety, operations, personnel management and regulatory compliance. - Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or a Human Services Related field with at least 30 ECE or Elementary Education college credits required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching in an educational setting
- Supervisory experience, preferred
- PA Directors’ Credential, preferred
- Thorough and organized with the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
- A passion and commitment to best practices of Early Childhood Education
- Understanding of Keystone STARS and DHS regulations
- Experience with Creative Curriculum, a plus
